A quick and easy frozen peach margarita recipe perfect for summer parties, blending frozen peaches, tequila, lime, and a touch of sweetness for a refreshing icy drink.

  • 2 cups (about 300g) frozen sliced peaches
  • 1 cup (240ml) tequila blanco
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) fresh lime juice (about 3–4 limes)
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) agave syrup
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 1 to 1.5 cups (240-360ml) ice cubes
  • Coarse salt or sugar for rimming glasses (optional)
  • Peach slices and lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour coarse salt or sugar onto a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip the rim gently into the salt or sugar. Set glasses aside.
  2. Squeeze fresh limes to get about 1/3 cup (80ml) of lime juice. Strain to remove seeds if needed.
  3. In your blender, combine 2 cups (300g) of frozen peaches, 1 cup (240ml) tequila blanco, 1/4 cup (60ml) orange liqueur, 2 tablespoons (30ml) agave syrup, and the fresh lime juice.
  4. Add 1 to 1.5 cups (240-360ml) of ice cubes depending on your preferred thickness.
  5. Pulse and blend on high for about 30-45 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed, until smooth and frosty but not watery.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or strength by adding more agave syrup, ice, or a splash of water. Blend again for 10 seconds if you add anything.
  7. Carefully pour the frozen peach margarita into the prepared glasses. Garnish with fresh peach slices and a lime wedge.

Notes

Use frozen peaches for best icy texture; fresh peaches can be frozen overnight. Choose blanco or silver tequila for smooth flavor. Pre-chill glasses for best experience. Adjust sweetness and strength by tasting and adding more agave syrup, lime juice, or ice. Blend in batches if making large quantities. For non-alcoholic version, replace tequila and orange liqueur with peach nectar and sparkling water.
