Jalapeño Popper Crescent Rolls - featured image

These Jalapeño Popper Crescent Rolls combine spicy jalapeños, creamy cheese, and crispy bacon wrapped in flaky crescent dough for a quick and irresistible appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 23 fresh jalapeños, finely diced (remove seeds for less spice)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 45 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, diced jalapeños, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until evenly mixed.
  3. Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Sprinkle flour on the work surface if the dough is sticky.
  4. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto each triangle. Roll them up tightly, starting from the wide end of the triangle and finishing at the point.
  5. Place the rolled crescents onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Allow the rolls to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

[‘Chop jalapeños finely for even heat distribution.’, ‘Use room temperature cream cheese for smoother mixing.’, ‘Avoid overfilling the rolls to prevent bursting during baking.’, ‘Customize spice level by removing seeds and membranes from jalapeños.’, ‘Pre-cook bacon for better texture.’]
