These Halloween Oreo Ghost Truffles are the ultimate treat to steal the show at your Halloween party, featuring creamy Oreo filling wrapped in a smooth white chocolate shell.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreos (regular or double-stuffed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • White chocolate chips or candy melts
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Optional: Sprinkles or edible glitter

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and smashing with a rolling pin.
  2. Combine Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until fully incorporated to form a sticky dough-like consistency.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1-inch in diameter, and place them onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Melt white chocolate chips or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring between each until smooth.
  5. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate using a fork or dipping tool, ensuring it’s fully coated. Let excess chocolate drip off before placing the truffle back onto the parchment-lined sheet.
  6. Press mini chocolate chips onto each truffle to create the ghost’s eyes and mouth while the chocolate is still soft.
  7. Let the truffles set completely at room temperature or in the fridge.
  8. Serve and enjoy your adorable Oreo Ghost Truffles!

Notes

[‘Ensure Oreo balls are chilled before dipping to prevent them from falling apart.’, ‘Decorate the ghost faces while the chocolate is still soft for better adhesion.’, ‘Add a teaspoon of coconut oil to the chocolate if it becomes too thick.’, ‘Don’t overmix the Oreo and cream cheese mixture to avoid making the filling too soft.’, ‘Practice makes perfect—don’t worry if your first few ghosts aren’t perfect!’]
