  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) chia seeds (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons (15 g) toasted slivered almonds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse 1 cup (150 g) of fresh strawberries under cold water. Pat dry with a kitchen towel. Hull and slice them thinly (about 1/4-inch thick). Set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, scoop 1 cup (240 ml) of Greek yogurt. Add 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of vanilla extract. Gently fold together using a spoon or whisk until evenly combined but still fluffy. Avoid overmixing.
  3. Place 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of honey in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. Warm gently until it becomes runny and pourable—about 15-20 seconds in the microwave or very low heat on the stove. Do not boil.
  4. Spoon the vanilla-infused yogurt into your serving bowl. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top. If using, sprinkle 1 tablespoon (15 g) of chia seeds and 2 tablespoons (15 g) of toasted slivered almonds. Add a pinch of lemon zest if desired.
  5. Drizzle the warmed honey evenly over the strawberries and yogurt.
  6. Serve immediately for best freshness and texture.

Do not overmix the yogurt to keep it airy. Warm honey gently to preserve its floral notes and ensure smooth drizzling. Use fresh strawberries for best texture and flavor.
