Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients (10 minutes): Slice bagels in half, thinly slice red onion, tomatoes, cucumber, and lemon wedges. Roughly chop dill and set aside capers in a small bowl.
  2. Whip the Cream Cheese (5 minutes): Mix softened cream cheese with a pinch of fresh dill and about Β½ teaspoon lemon zest. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange the Bagels (5 minutes): Place bagel halves on a board or platter, spacing them out. Toast lightly if desired.
  4. Layer the Cream Cheese (5 minutes): Spread whipped cream cheese generously on each bagel half.
  5. Add Smoked Salmon (5 minutes): Fold or curl thin slices of smoked salmon and place atop cream cheese on each bagel.
