  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Finely chop the mushrooms and garlic.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and garlic, cooking for 5-7 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  5. Fold the sautéed mushrooms into the creamy mixture, ensuring everything is evenly incorporated.
  6. Spoon the mixture into your baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are bubbly and golden.
  8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
