A warm twist on the classic White Russian, this creamy cocktail is perfect for chilly evenings and cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk/oat milk for dairy-free)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee or espresso powder
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 11.5 ounces Kahlúa or coffee liqueur
  • 1 ounce vodka
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of heavy cream. Heat over medium-low, stirring occasionally, until warm but not boiling (about 3-5 minutes).
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of instant coffee or espresso powder, 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Whisk until fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1-1.5 ounces of Kahlúa and 1 ounce of vodka. Mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a heatproof mug or glass.
  5. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, if desired.
  6. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy.

Notes

Avoid boiling the milk and cream to prevent a scalded taste. Customize sweetness and garnish with whipped cream or cinnamon for added flair.
